i think it is a very good idea to start complimenting the people around you, but i have one point though, i think that it's very important to compliment someone as sincerely as possible, otherwise it's almost like lying...

I want to compliment Siran Khandanyan,she used to be my English professor ,,,she is really a great person and nice professor !! I learned so much from her!! and want to be a professional in my work like she is in hers !! thank you Siran <3
